hand crafted desk pen base

Awhile ago i posted about my broken sheaffer desk pen, i absolutely loved this thing.  some vintage pens can be a little fiddly, but this one just worked perfectly every time.  thats why i was so sad when the trumpet broke.  the other day i decided to do something about it.  so i made this desk pen base from a beautifully shaped piece of scrap wood.
