this is my collection of esterbrooks and their parts.
the two dip pens have 2668 nibs
the large grey pen has a 1550 nib
the thin short grey pen has a 2284 nib
the large black pen has a 2556 nib
the thin long orange capless pen has a 2968 nib
the large single jewel clipless and jewelless pen has a 1555 greg nib
the large blue pen is missing a section and will likely be fitted with that 9550 nib and section
the other loose nibs are the previously mentioned 9550 nib and section and two 2556 nibs, and three 2668 nibs
here are two close ups of the 9550 nib

$10 flex pen
if you go to flea markets there are a large selection of pens that can be had for $1 many of the pens from the 20's and 30's will take Fountain Pen Revolutions steel flex nibs. these cheap indian nibs can be had for $7 and perform about as well as noodler's flex nibs. the trick is to take a dremel and sand the nib back in certain areas to increase the ease of flexibility of the nib. i will cover more on that later.
i have yet to get a true wet noodle nib but i have had some that flex on the down strokes without applying pressure
